vibnote Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-24. vibnote is provided by YDONLABS (연두온랩스). Contact: lee@poria.net

vibnote is built so that we do not hold your content. There is no vibnote account, and the vibnote server has no database of users or notes.

What stays on your device

What goes to GitHub

What passes through the vibnote server

The vibnote server (a Cloudflare Worker) relays two things and stores neither:

Like any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and limit request rates. We do not keep IP addresses.

Emails you send us

If you email us feedback or sign up for app release notices (from Settings, which opens your mail app), we receive your email address and what you wrote. We use app sign-ups only to tell you when the desktop or mobile apps are released, and delete them after that or whenever you ask. We do not add you to any other mailing list.

Chrome extension

The vibnote Chrome extension has no server of its own and sends nothing anywhere except vibnote.com in your own browser. When you click its button, use its shortcut, or choose one of its right-click menu items, it reads the address and title of that tab and any text you selected and shows them in its popup. When you press Save, it hands the text to your vibnote.com tab (opening one in the background if none is open), and vibnote saves it there as usual. It can read only the tab you clicked and vibnote.com, not all websites, and it does not read your browsing history.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which countries visitors come from. It does not use cookies and does not read your content.

The web app also sends anonymous usage counts so we can tell whether the product works for people: whether a first snap, a first note, a GitHub connection, sample snaps, or Review happened (each once per browser), and on each day you open the app, how many days it has been since your first use (as a range such as "7–13 days"). When something breaks, it also counts where (a screen crash, an uncaught error, or a sync failure with its kind such as "network" or "auth"), at most once per kind per page load and ten times a day per browser. Error messages and stack traces are not sent. Each count carries only the event name, that range, the kind of screen (phone, desktop, or installed app), and the app language. No user or device identifier is created or sent, and none of your content, titles, or links. The counts are stored in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. You can turn them off in Settings.

We do not use advertising, sell data, or share data with data brokers.
